Join the group for a great discussion of the selected book which is “Silence” by Shusaku Endo.  This is the story of 2 Portuguese Jesuits who traveled to 17th Century Japan, a country hostile to their religion and where feudal lords were facing Christians to renounce their faith.  The author is one of the most celebrated Japanese authors of the 20th Century.
