Join other parishioners for a lively discussion of the “Everything Happens for a Reason” by Kate Bowler.(Random House Trade Paperback).

Kate Bowler is a professor at Duke University with a specialty in “the prosperity gospel” This book is her story when at age 35, she is confronted with Stage 4 cancer. She faces the limits of this gospel and the can-do spirit it celebrates.
