Taize’ Prayer is an ecumenical meditative service, where one invites God’s presence to penetrate one’s innermost being. The format of the prayer service is: singing, scripture reading, silent meditation, intercessions, and silent departure.
This form of prayer comes from the ecumenical Christian monastic community of Taize’, located in the heart of the Burgundy region in France.
