The event is part of the Catherine M. and Paul W. Beltz Lecture Series: “Church on Fire: Stay with Us!” The presenter is Rev. Thomas Slon, S.J., Rector of the Jesuit Community of Buffalo.
St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556) lived at a time at least as tumultuous as our own, especially in the Church. St. Ignatius developed his classic Spiritual Exercises, commonly known as Ignatian Spirituality. Fr. Slon will discuss the uniqueness of Ignatian Spirituality and why it might be of use to us, as we face our own Church crises.
This is a FREE event, but reservations are required: Go to www.BSCBuffalo.org/events; or call Michael Pitek at 716-480-8313; or email him at Michael@thepitekgroup.com
